Right after my last update, we spent a week in Florida in the heat of hurricane season. I remember one day we almost got hit; we left Jacksonville in the morning to go to Tallahassee, and later that day Jacksonville lost power and had tornado warnings and all sorts of funky stuff. Meanwhile we all went bowling in Tallahassee. I hit a strike on my first try, which is a miracle because I’ve never bowled over 100.

Then we spent a couple of days in Atlanta. We had 2 shows there. Ciara jumped on as the first opening act, and Just Blaze went up and scratched when Usher performed “Throwback”. Just Blaze actually knew my Missy routine! He was naming videos he’d seen me on — I couldn’t believe it.

Last Thursday we performed in Philly and MTV came to film a little news story on yours truly! It’s going to air next week, and the angle is “the Truth tour as seen by Kanye’s DJ”. I don’t want to give too much away, so be sure to check out MTV News… In the words of S. Carter, “look for me!”
