Last weekend was Winter Music Conference in sunny South Beach, Miami. I have to say, I usually don’t like WMC. The last couple of years, I felt like the parties were too messy – everybody too drunk to notice who’s even playing – and it was getting too electronic for my taste. But this year was pretty dope!

Here it is yall: Babylon. First picture looks pretty calm, but that’s just because it was taken at 5am. I went to some cool soirees, many of them on rooftops apparently. I also got to catch up with some old friends (2nd pic) and meet some new folks as well. I might as well cut to the chase: I still had never met Premier, and it was more than an honor to finally run into him. Hardbody!

And in the “random” category, I met Tigre from the legendary 80′s female duo Le Trimm! She could not believe that a Canadian knew some of her songs. Check it out.

I played a really dope party for Triple 5 Soul/Turntable Lab/Contagious Musiq, with Craze, PB Wolf and more. It was one of those late afternoon, hotel terrace, grown-and-sexy jump-offs. And obviously anytime I’m in Miami I gotta catch up with my partner in crime, the Ernie to my Bert, my boy Craze. The result is… another picture.
