The morning after Miami we headed over to Toronto for the Ecko Getting Up festival, which probably had the biggest hip hop line-up Canada has ever seen — Ludacris, Nas, Lil Jon, Ciara, Mos Def, and mucho mas. It was cool to finally do a show in Canada with Kanye. Now if only we could play in Montreal. (Cue sad tuba sound.) Anyways, I guess this was the weekend of the boats, because I DJ’ed an afterparty on — you guessed it — a boat. Good thing I wore a pirate shirt. Craze was also in town and it was good catching up with the young scrappa.

Word… Now my question is, why am I writing this update in a cab in Cincinnati at midnight?? Ah well…

Oh by the way, to anyone in Montreal: my compadres P-Thugg, Simahlak and Jordan Dare are starting a monthly night and I’m playing at the first one, next week on the 25th. As the flyer says, where else in Montreal will you hear Cameo, Joy Division and “Sittin’ Sidewayz” all on the same night? Come on by…
