What the bidness is, yall? First of all, if you’re wondering why there haven’t been many new show dates added to the “Upcoming” schedule, it’s because the Kanye tour is about to start. At the end of the month we’re starting rehearsals and after that we’re off till the end of the year… I’ll put up the routing as soon as it’s confirmed. Dude sold 860,000 records in his first week. It’s the biggest first week sale in all of Def Jam history. Not bad.

And if you’re wondering where I got that picture with OJ, that was at the LA Summerjam concert on August 20th. I took pics with two OG’s that day. The 2nd one is right here, with Daz. It doesn’t really get any realer than that. So, a pretty enjoyable day overall. Christina Milian also came and hung out at the studio… So many Truth Tour memories!

I went back to reality after that and did a bitchin’ show in Calgary. Shout out to the homies DJ Pump, Pete and Mike. I went to do a last-minute sound check and saw that the little Mackie board that I use with my sampler had broken at some point in my travels. Pretty simple: the power switch was broken off. But these dudes helped me find a new board and we were all straight for the show. That’s really the biggest headache with travelling. People think jetlag is a bitch, but the worst is really how everything (and I mean everything) breaks.

Then I went home for like 2 days, which seems to be my M.O. lately. I call it the fly-home-just-to-do-laundry-pay-bills-and-hopefully-make-one-beat trips. Played at the first edition of Get Low: check out the pics. And don’t mss the next edition on Sept 29th, they’re bringing Devin the Dude!!
