It’s that time again! Break out those reading glasses, I’ve got some stories to tell. First of all I just finished this mixtape that I’ve been working on for the past 2 months! Oh what a feeling. It’s called Dirty South Dance and it’s coming out through Obey just in time for SXSW. I made a gang of remixes using bits and pieces of new electro tracks, crunkdafied acapellas and adding some production, and then made a mix out of the whole shebang-a-bang. If you heard those “Walk It Out” and “Stuntin Like My Daddy” remixes that have been up on my myspace page, those are taken from the mixtape. I ended up having to finish it in random hotel rooms, whenever I’d have some downtime between sound checks and shows, setting up my little one-turntable-plus-serato-plus-Mbox mobile workstation on hotel desks across the land.
