Around the World pt. 22

After two weeks of madness in Asia I few to Barcelona to perform at Primavera Sound, one of my favorite festivals in Europe. This isn’t one of these mudfests where people camp out and play hacky sack to the tune of nu-rock. The programming is very tasteful, comparable to Coachella, and the site is by the water on firm ground.

You may remember about 6 months ago I posted about Parra’s collaboration with The Perfect Unison headphones. Well here’s the brand’s latest offering, teaming up with French jewelry and clothing specialist HOON. It’s the hunting man’s headphones! Available June 23rd at Colette Paris.
Becks advertorial in Wired
Did you guys see this already? It came out a few weeks ago. It’s in the June issue of Wired, an advertorial for Beck’s beer. I’ve never tasted Becks, is it any good? See the interview after the jump.

Signing at the Kidrobot store
As announced last week, I have a toy coming out with Kid Robot designed by my trusty consigliere Dust La Rock. He and I will be at the New York Kidrobot store on July 1st for a signing. The toy officially drops the next day. Come say hi! Bring a muffin.
Disque Primeur restocks A-Trak goodies
Back in 2006 I released 2 mix CDs with the French label Disque Primeur. They also distributed my DVD Sunglasses Is A Must in France. Time for some restocking? Yes. I am happy to announce that all 3 releases are available again on their online store. (They can say “boutique” without sounding pretentious because it’s a French word and they’re French.)

Around the World Pt. 21: A Taste Of Asia Tour – Week 2

Halfway into my Taste Of Asia tour I flew to Bangkok. This was my first trip to Thailand and I wish I could have stayed longer than one day. I arrived at my hotel and found a washer and dryer in my room. Heaven! I got a couple loads going and worked on some beats as my socks got cleaner and cleaner. Then I went to explore the city a bit.
