Tim Hawkinson exhibit at the PaceWildenstein

July 08th, 2009

2 years ago I saw an exhibit by Tim Hawkinson at the PaceWildenstein gallery in New York and I was floored. I remember he made sculptures out of NAIL CLIPPINGS and they looked amazing. It was so bizarre and detail-oriented, which is exactly up my alley.

I’m sad to find out that I won’t be back in NY in time to see the current exhibit which features 9 new works from 2008 and 2009. It ends on July 24th. If you are in New York please go see this! Above is a picture of a real size motorcycle made out of feathers.

Read about it on the PaceWildenstein website!

CORRECTION: The exhibit I saw 2 years ago was at the Whitney. But the new one is at the PaceWildenstein.

If you ever get really disgruntled with the airlines, you could make a song hating on the airline, like this dude.
