Introducing… Duck Sauce!

Ok so I imagine most of the people who visit my blog have heard of Duck Sauce in some way, shape or form but I never made an official announcement. Duck Sauce is me and Armand Van Helden. It’s our project together, just making house tracks and hollering at ducks. We made a 4 track EP which is slated for a September release, but we’re actually putting the 2 main tracks “aNYway” and “You’re Nasty” on Beatport tomorrow as an advance release for DJs. The support from DJs has already been overwhelming, I can’t wait to see how this one grows!

    new duck sauce jams are the bump! ‘You’re nasty’ sounds like something DJ Dan would have played back in the day during the rave scene (circa 1995). Im so glad to hear that sound make a comeback. It was that sound that got me into house music in the first place. Most house music these days is so far away from the sound. It makes me sad to see where house music is now. If I hear 1 more ‘jackin’ house track with jazz on it Im going to cry. Bring back the half bar loop!!!
