The next issue of Mixmag will have our good friend and longtime supporter Annie Mac on the cover. Armand and I made the covermount CD (as Duck Sauce). All disco house! New and old. Fun times.

    In spite of all the hype that has been surrounding Duck Sauce, I STILL think that people are underestimating the significance of this alliance. If you look at where ‘bloghouse’ was 2-3 years ago in terms of being scorned by ‘regular house & techno’ compared to today; if you look at how long AVH has been in the game & his various aesthetics over the years; if you look at hipsters’ unwavering reverence to original french touch; and if you look at Trizzy’s knack making a crossover hit like ‘Shake it Down,’ the pieces start to come together…
