its really hard to find the right expression, because the word fool has a few meanings in german…
but I think the right expression would be “narren gold”, but dont take it too serious
it´s “katzengold”,
a term for the mineral pyrit, just loockin like the real gold..

yeah, but do you think the meaning of fool’s gold is a mineral?…I think the term is that good, because it has different meanings…
