Alan Braxe on the SP-1200

Spotted this on the Holy Ghost! blog… pretty dope, Alan Braxe shows how he made “Intro (Running)” on the SP-1200 and the Alesis 3630 compressor. I have that compressor, I’ve never used it on anything.

    This is great. You can do all the same things with Ableton and any controller surface though. Except maybe for the quantizing / auto-repeat thing he does.

    I had seen this video a while back so its dope it resurfaced! Nothin like seen producers work on hardware! I know peeps say computer programs do da same, but like Trizzy said da sound of hardware production is always better! Daft Punk & alota da french producers still use hardware & dats why there music never fails 2 sound ill…imo…rspx
