Sunglasses tour wrap-up
The Sunglasses Is A Must tour is a serious contender for the most blogged tour in the history of this information superhighway we call the internet. I kept a twice-a-week diary on Dose’s website (they were our Canadian magazine sponsor), but then they folded halfway into the tour. Excellent. And we all (The Rub and me) kept weekly diaries on the Fader blog.
So now, for your reading convenience, here are all the links:

On top of the people I thanked in the last Fader blog, I want to add a special thank-you to everyone involved with the Montreal show, because that one was extra special for me. The Kops guys made this the ultimate jump-off, as usual. And 33mag.com also helped out a lot. The Mirror put me on the cover, I appreciate that… I couldn’t even name everyone that came out but a lot of them are in the photo album.
So go check that out, read up on the diaries, fix me a sandwich… wait, I’m sorry. And um, get ready for the big announcement.

Singapore and stuff
If you’ve read the last entry, you’ll know that I went to Singapore. That trip proved to be quite the culinary expedition. Never in my life had I tasted sting ray, drank (and fell in love with) sugarcane juice or seen/eaten SHRIMP this BIG! I was also delighted to see that the 3rd instalment in the “Learn to Hip Hop” DVD series was out and available in stores! Check it out…
The Rub and Vancouver
The Rub was the ultimate jump-off on the 7th in New York. Them boys Ayres and Cosmo Baker sure know how to throw a good soirée.
The best part was the surprise visit from O.G.’s Kinetic and Eclipse (pictured below), out of the clear blue skies. Not to mention Dunnit. Who woulda thunk
Speaking of who-woulda-thunks: I never thought I’d hear Tego Calderon over a Primo beat! Yall need to track down this Tony Touch song called “Gangsta Shit”. You have to hear it to believe it. And speaking of songs I’m feeling, RJ’s Tweet remix is cold, my friends.
I just got back from Vancouver. Stopped by J-Swing and Flipout’s radio show on the Beat (where’s Montreal’s urban station?) and then proceeded to twist some knobs (no homo).
