Late pass: I won a Beatport Award!

This news is a bit old but I wanted to make sure it got immortalized in the ol’ blog-a-roni.

The results are in from the 2010 Beatport Music Awards and my Yeah Yeah Yeahs remix won Best Indie Dance/Nu Disco Track! It’s always cool to be Nu-anything. Not only that but I’m also runner up for Best Indie Dance Artist (behind the homie Boys Noize). So to anyone who voted: thank you!!!!

If you didn’t vote and are feeling the itch to express yourself now, you could always vote for me in the America’s Best DJ awards! *wink wink* Either me or Pauly D.

Beatport music awards: Vote or Die

Side note: hello blog readers. Sorry if I haven’t posted in about a week. I’m alive, just been locked up in the studio… Stay tuned for some new music very very soon.

Anyway, it’s already voting time for the Beatport Music Awards. Last year was kind to me, now let’s show the world how democracy works and cast those ballots again! :) I’m up for “Best Indie Dance Artist” and my Yeah Yeah Yeahs remix is up for “Best Indie Dance / Nu Disco Track”. Gotta love that genre.

I won a Beatport award!

The results are in for the 2009 Beatport Music Awards and my remix of Boys Noize “Oh!” won best Electro House Track! Coooooool…. next year I’m going for Best Chill Out Track. 

Also in the Fool’s Gold family, Kid Cudi “Day N Nite (Crookers Remix)” won best Indie Dance / Nu Disco Track.
