Tumi makes lighter luggage for the carry-on generation

More and more of us are carrying on our luggage now that all these airlines are starting to charge for checked bags. So you gotta commend Tumi for launching a new line called Tumi Light, promising bags that weigh 25 to 40 percent less than other similar models.
I live in constant fear that my carry-on bag will get weighed, so this is definitely a step in the right direction. More info over on the NY Times’ The Moment blog.
